Blendily is Coming to Seattle!

We have dropped hints here and there in the last month, but it is really happening. We are making it happen! I have signed and secured a lease in the Ballard neighborhood and we are actively hiring to build our team from the ground up!

We will hopefully be able to open in Pop-Up style for this Holiday season as we begin to plan our full store build-out that we will undertake in 2022.

It took a lot of effort & energy to get the Portland brick-and-mortar flagship up and running, and it was & continues to be immensely challenging to adapt to the ups & downs associated with running a small business in the time of COVID-19.

In fact, I backed out of signing a lease in Seattle in February 2020, not because of the pandemic, but because of an intuitive premonition I had about the location at the time. If I had signed that lease then, perhaps the Blendily story would have ended by now. Instead, we recalibrated, and we are sailing on with only a slight delay.

The Blendily story & journey continues, and we need your help!
We have launched a crowdfunding campaign on Mainvest, the platform to invest in Main street small businesses.

Many business people cautioned me when discussing the prospect of opening an additional brick-and-mortar location. We have seen many storied retail brands over the recent years fold, and many more struggling to keep locations afloat. I decided to forge ahead despite the risks because I am a staunch believer that people need beautiful places to go to, communities need destinations for gathering & inspiration, and the soul of neighborhoods is in the spirit of the businesses they host.

I do not want to live in a future where all things arrive in cardboard boxes on my doorstop.

I would like to continue dreaming up botanical creations, supporting local & regional farms & purveyors, creating jobs, contributing to the circular economy, and translating the therapeutic properties of plants into vessels for the holistic health of our communities.

Please invest in Blendily on Mainvest, and hope to see you in Seattle!
